My Approach

Present for every single second

Elopements and intimate weddings are some of my most meaningful work. When it is just the two of you, or a small circle of the people you love most, the emotion is pure. There is nowhere to hide it, and I would not want you to! I am there to document everything as it unfolds, staying close enough to catch the quiet moments and far enough to let you forget I am there.

There is something so freeing about an elopement. You get to throw out the rulebook and build a day around exactly what matters to the two of you, whether that is somewhere wildly adventurous or your own backyard with a few intimate family members. It can be joyful, a little wild, and completely yours.

I am not a wedding coordinator, but I love helping my couples dream up and shape their elopement. From timing your ceremony for the best light to thinking through the little details that make the day flow, I am here to help you create something beautiful and then capture every second of it.

And I truly go wherever your story takes you. I am available for elopements and intimate weddings all over the world. Travel fees may apply for destinations outside the United States, so reach out and let’s talk about your vision.

FAQ

Common Questions

Do you travel for elopements?

Yes, always! I am a photographer who is up for an adventure, and I love to travel. I am available for intimate weddings and elopements anywhere in the world. Travel fees may apply for destinations outside the United States. Reach out and let's talk about your vision!

How many hours do we need for an elopement?

For a simple two-person ceremony with portraits, 2-3 hours gives us everything we need. If you are including a small gathering of close family or a dinner celebration, 4-6 hours is a great range. I will always build a custom timeline around your day so we are never rushing and you get to be fully present in every moment.

Can you help us plan the day?

Yes, and I love doing it! Especially for couples who are planning something outside the traditional wedding format, I am happy to help you think through logistics, location permits, ceremony timing for golden hour, officiant referrals, and how to structure your day so it flows beautifully. I have photographed everything from city hall ceremonies to clifftop vows to arts center micro-weddings, so I have a good sense of what works.

What is an intimate wedding vs. an elopement?

For my purposes, an elopement is typically just the two of you (or with a very small witness group) at a meaningful location. An intimate wedding is a small gathering of your closest people, usually under 30 guests, with a full ceremony and celebration. Both are my absolute favorite to photograph because the emotion is undiluted. Every moment matters and nothing feels rushed.
